Cool Gear Inc. Review

     I was very excited to receive my 2 awesome products from Cool Gear.  As many of you know I am extremely green friendly and using reusable cups and water bottles is just one small thing I can do to help out in a big way.  My family very rarely uses paper/plastic anything because I won't let them.  My 3 year old son even yelled at his sister last night telling her she better recycle her plastic ice cream cup!  This almost brought tears to my eyes :). 

     Cool Gear provides all sorts of eco-friendly products that just about anyone can use.  They have everything from reusable cups and self filtering water bottles to salad containers and ice blocks for entertaining.  I received the 20 oz Eco 2 Go Chiller Tinted with Gel which retails at $9.99 on their website.  This is a great price since at most stores you can't find a basic reusable cup for under $12 bucks and they are usually the 16oz size.  This cup is even better than the others you find at the stores because this cup has a non toxic freezer gel built in.  So without ice my water was chilled right away.  I keep the glass in the freezer over night and fill it with water in the morning.  My water (if I don't drink it right away) stayed cold for about an hour and a half indoors.  This cup is also tinted with a colored band and straw as well so everyone in my family can have their own color without having to worry about sharing each others "slobber"!

     The other product I received was the 24 oz Pure water filtration bottle which retails at $11.99 on their website.  This water bottle can filter up to 150 gallons of water depending on frequency of use.  There is a built in gel freezer stick where the water flows through as a built in straw, making the water you drink instantly cold.  Now I consider myself to be a water snob so I very rarely drink tap water.  All my water has to be filtered as well as my ice cubes or I whine quite a bit about it.  The Pure water bottle eliminates my whining by not only filtering each bottle of water but keeping it cold without having to worry about ice cubes!
