Fairhaven Health Tea-For-Two Review and Giveaway

With my last pregnancy, I was turned onto pregnancy and uterine health tea mid-third trimester.  Did it work?  Maybe.  I semi liked the taste.  But I got Chase out in two pushes.  Guess I had a strong uterus.  I tried looking up the old stuff that I used to drink, but they company had discontinued the prenatal tea.  Upon searching online, I came across Fairhaven Health and their all-natural teas.  The website boasts everything from fertility supplements, and ovulation predictors, but a plethora of pregnancy and nursing products as well.  They offer prenatal and postnatal vitamins, stretch mark and nipple creams, as well as the fertility, pregnancy and the nursing teas.

Fairhaven Health courteously offered to send me the pregnancy Tea-For-Two for me to try and review.  It claims to strengthen the uterus during pregnancy, as well as help to relieve morning sickness, naturally.  I'm all for all-natural, and anything that can help with this awful all-day nausea was extremely welcomed.  I at one point was up to 9 pills a day for nausea, acid reflux due to the nausea and getting physically ill, as well as the prenatal vitamins & fiber gummies.  I felt like I belonged in a Narcotics Anonymous meeting.

It is a loose leaf tea, and you only use a very small amount for each cup of tea.  I can easily see one bag of tea going a very long way.  It contains Strawberry Leaf, Alfalfa, Dandelion Leaf, Oatstraw, Ginger and Lemon Verbena.  It is caffeine free and has a very mild lemon flavor.  I, personally, prefer my teas a little bit stronger, but if you are suffering severe nausea, I can see why they left it to be a mild flavor.  The website even suggests you make the tea and freeze it into ice cubes or popsicles to help calm severe morning sickness.

Recommendation:  It definitely helped to stifle some of my morning sickness, which has been darn near debilitating! I liked the very ‘earthy’ scent and even though the taste was a little mild for MY taste, I can definitely see many expecting ladies loving it!  As always, these would make awesome gifts for someone if you are not expecting, or a new parent.

  16. Has anyone here tried Promise Pregnancy's Fertility Tea or Pregnancy Tea? Looks like they have similar ingredients, but I like that Promise Tea comes in tea bags rather than loose leaf.
