Bob the Builder®: Teamwork Time DVD Review and Giveaway

I have to say I was very interested to see if Dane would be interested in reviewing the newest Bob the Builder DVD.  We've never really watched any of the shows on TV and even though Dane has a bunch of tool sets, he shows very little interest in them.  I think this is partly because of his father as Kevin doesn't exactly enjoy being a handy man in any way.  But when I asked him he said for sure!

Bob the Builder®: Teamwork Time became available on  December 4, 2012 from Lionsgate and HIT Entertainment.  You can now find it on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand.  The DVD not only features five episodes but 3 bonus feature music videos including “Down on the Farm”, “I’m a Tractor”, and “Picking up the Pieces”

The synopsis says "Dizzy wants to prove she’s a whiz at being helpful but learns that being thoughtful is what really gets the job done! Spud goes missing before a big performance. Can Dizzy save the day so the show can go on? Roley is determined to do a weather rap and soon learns that safety comes first! When Scrambler fails to build a tree house on his own, he finds it takes a team to get a project off the ground. Scratch learns that some problems are best shared and comes up with a solution by getting everyone to work together. Hold on to your hard hats and see why the best plans start with teamwork!"

Now in my opinion Dane was pretty zoned into this movie for more than an hour or so as it played on repeat.  Unfortunately, according to him, "it didn't have enough fun stuff in it and was boring".  So I am unsure as to his true feelings on the movie.  I think the attention to it came from never having seen it.  I thought it had some really cute lessons though all about working together as a team!

Cost:  $9.98
Recommendation:  I would have to say for the price I didn't think the DVD was quite worth it as it didn't seem to appeal to him.  However, I would recommend to most other children and at the ten dollar price point.  The lessons were great and I thought the story was cute as well.
