Candle Warmer Aurora Candle Warmer Lamp / Jamie Clair Wicked 22 oz. Candles Review and Giveaway

I consider myself to be a big animal lover but with having lots of them comes the smells on EVERYTHING.  Even though I have always had multiple animals, I have tried very hard to keep my home from smelling that way.  In the past this meant burning candles and air fresheners in every outlet.  Well, that was until I had kids. now candles are a rarity and only up high.  Now I also have to worry about the additional smells that come with kids (oh and I have boys so I've got it even worse)!

My three dogs have also gotten together and decided that they were all going to go through some extreme gassy phase.  With all three of them blowing up the house pretty much all the time, it has become almost unbearable to sit and enjoy an evening in front of the TV or just in general with each other.  We have been trying the Airwick auto sprays as well as the hand held ones but nothing over powers their butt smell!  I've been forced to search out stronger options.

Thank goodness when I contacted Candle Warmers they agreed to send me one of their flameless warmers and a couple candles to try.  I picked out the Aurora Candle Warmer Lamp and they sent me two of their Jamie Clair Wicked 22 oz. Candles (Home for the Holidays & Tropical Paradise scents).

Because Candle Warmers prides themselves on "Going Flameless and practicing Candle-Sense", I don't have to worry about Mr. Troublemaker Declan touching an open flame.  Which is a HUGE concern of mine after we spent a week in our Children's Hospital Burn Unit (not for Declan but because the Newborn ER was full).  It was such a horrific experience that I will never have open flames around the kids until they are much older!

"The Aurora Candle Warmer Lamp™ is a revolutionary new concept to the candle warming industry. With a patented soft halogen light the Aurora Candle Warmer Lamp creates the ambiance of a burning candle releasing the candle’s fragrance within minutes."  The first time we plugged this in it did take about ten minutes to notice a smell but now we can notice it within two minutes each time its turned on!

These candles (and of course the warmer) are great as they truly help with the smell of the dogs!  My home just seems filled extremely fast with such a warm fragrance!  I also love not having to purchase tons of air fresheners to fill up my plugs around the house or having actual burning candles around.

Cost/Available to purchase: $39.95 Aurora Candle Warmer Lamp http://www.candlewarmers.com/ProductDetail.aspx?cat=5
$24.99 Jamie Clair Wicked 22 oz. Candles http://www.candlewarmers.com/ProductDetail.aspx?cat=9
Recommendation:  Depending on your need for air freshening, I would recommend giving these a try.  As far as pricing goes these definitely seem a little high at first glance but knowing how much longer the candles are going to last as well as are much safer for your home, they are much more worth the money!

  6. I am considering getting The Ceramic Candle Warmer Lantern in rustic brown. I think it is really nice. (Leaving a comment about a product I found on candlewarmers.com seemed like a good idea.)

I really like your reviews and that all your information is available on the right. The only thing I can thing of that I would change is moving the comment posting to the top of the last post instead of at the bottom so we have to scroll past every one elses It's a great site.
