Inception Media: Ghost Trap DVD Review

Alright so I think most of you may have caught on to my husbands weird Zombie fetish and our love for the Halloween holiday.  We love to watch scary movies as well and have tried to teach our children the difference between real and fake when it comes to moves and video games.  Because of this, depending on the level of gore or violence we allow the kids to watch certain mildly scary films in hopes of NOT sheltering them and their intelligence.

On February 12, 2013, Inception Media Group will release Ghost Trap on DVD!

The synopsis says " When a school project goes terribly wrong in this family friendly mystery, Cynthia Carter finds herself doing community service at mean, old Mrs. Gotham’s house, rumored to be haunted. But it takes more than gossip to scare this scientist-in-training. Soon, however, Cynthia realizes that doing chores for the grumpy woman may not be her biggest problem after all. Strange happenings defy logic … and things are quickly getting worse. Enlisting the help of her two best friends and  their quirky teacher, she is determined to get to the bottom of the eerie events from a purely scientific viewpoint. But while they may have it down to a science, the resident ghosts seem to have other plans!"

I truly hate that we were so excited to watch this and it was a big disappointment.  Now Dane was pretty into watching the movie itself but hasn't seemed interested in watching it a second time.  The acting in this was sub par and very difficult to watch as an adult since it was soooo cheesy.  The story line wasn't bad with some good lessons like "everything you do has an affect some where else - every action has a ripple reaction."

Suggested Retail Pricing: $26.98
Recommendation:  I cannot believe that out of all the movies I have reviewed over the last few months, this is the most expensive.  I would not pay $27 for this or even half that because of the quality - sorry.
