Plants on Walls FLORAFELT Vertical Garden Planter 4-Pocket Review and Giveaway

SPONSOR HIGHLIGHT "St. Patty's After Party" BLOG HOP EVENT
I have always loved going to hotels or businesses where they have extravagant garden and plant decor.  Even before I was a gardener myself I just always have loved the beautiful scenery.  My mother has ALWAYS been a green thumb and her home inside and out is filled with lush plants.  So when I started gardening I set out to be an artist with my plants.

Florafelt Recirc Vertical Garden Systems
One of the products I have always wanted to either buy or create has been a vertical planter.  I just think it is such an awesome way to display plants and of course to save on space.  Plants on Walls thankfully agreed to send over one of their awesome Florafelt 4-Pocket Vertical Garden Planters to create my own outdoor oasis.

The "hand-made planters are designed to use the micro fibers in PET felt so that all the plants are watered equally."  Whats really awesome is the felt is even made from recycled plastic bottles!  This is an indestructible and non-toxic fiber so you can safely grow organic fruits, vegetables and herbs!  Obviously this is a big plus for me since I tend to grow mostly edibles.

These are great for apartment or city living because of how little space they actually take up.  "Roots grow right into the felt, which comes alive thanks to the microbiology in the soil."  Right now in Michigan is the time of year I start preparing seedlings for my summer gardening.  So unfortunately I do not have pictures of my plants in the actual vertical garden just yet.  But I am readily waiting for the snow to stop so I can add them and create a beautiful scene in my back yard!  I will update with pictures as soon as I have them!!

Cost/Available to purchase:  $59 FLORAFELT Vertical Garden Planter 4-Pocket
Recommendation:  I think not only is this a great price for something like this but it is great for just about any skill level gardener!  With Plants on Walls help you can create any living outdoor masterpiece easily.  This is something worth the purchase as well as the other systems they have available!

  1. Ooh, this seems really useful! It seems that it would be easy to use, too, and will help keep at least some of the animals from eating whatever we grow in it! That's one of the reasons we rarely have a garden; if we ever get the plants to grow animals eat the sprouts!

  2. Wow what a great product I have seen some that are similar but the ones I have seen had to be watered they didn't have the micro fibers in PET felt so that all the plants are watered equally. I love that you can still be green even if you are living in an apartment or high rise hey we like flowers and veggies too. So glad Plants on Walls thought of us apartment dwellers too :) Love that being off the ground and on a wall they won't get all buggie.

  3. I love that it is made from recycled plastic bottles, that is awesome. I would love to hang one of these in the pavilion.

  4. This is such a great idea! I enjoy gardening, but don't have as much space as I would like. I also like that this uses recycled bottles.

  5. I would love to -win- Grand Prize Pack #2 - ARV $104.
Plants on Walls - Florafelt 4 Pocket Vertical Planter caught my
eye right away. I spent the last several months studying different
ways to garden in vertical planters. I would love to win and try
this one out. It is time to plant and I still haven't decided which
way I want to plant. If I don't decide quickly, I'll have to use the
standard garden for one more year and start designing my vertical garden
next year. Please let me win and give it a try on a small scale this
    growing season. thank you BL

  6. I've never tried vertical gardening, but I've heard that it is one of the best ways to grow strawberries, which I love. I hope to try this soon!
