On April 30th , Shout Factory Kids, in collaboration with Hasbro Studios, released My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic - Princess Twilight Sparkle on DVD! This collection will include 5 episodes featuring Twilight’s adventures and the grand coronation event from Season 3 as well as a Sing-Along and Coloring Sheet.
The synopsis says "Since arriving in Ponyville, Twilight has learned Princess Celestia’s most valuable lesson — the meaning of true friendship. But with every new adventure comes a new lesson and if anyone is up for more learning, it’s the studious Twilight Sparkle! Now, after completing an important challenge, Twilight has earned her princess wings and has all new adventures and responsibilities as a princess!"
Dane was thrilled to watch this one as I knew he would be! Although with this one Declan took more of an interest and this has become his regular request throughout the day and before bed. After watching it for the first time, Dane excitedly told me, "This was the best episode ever! Twilight becomes a princess and gets her wings and it was so wonderful!! You have to watch this one Mom!!" I absolutely love his sensitivity and how open he is to watching all sorts of movies!

Recommendation: Both boys enjoyed watching this, in fact I can recite the entire DVD by heart as of now! I definitely think at $14 its worth it to purchase whether you have boys or girls. The kids thought it was great and I honestly thought it was pretty sweet myself!
