Organic Plant Magic Review and #Giveaway

I am always looking for organic fertilizers that will work well for my summer edibles but usually the ones I find seem to be ineffective.   Unfortunately I have found several "green washing" companies in this category.  When I recently saw an ad for Organic Plant Magic, I knew I needed to give it a try.

Plant Magic quickly agreed to send me over a bag for review and the timing couldn't have been more perfect.  I was finally able to make my yearly trip with my mother to the nurseries around here.  Usually we buy any plants we need earlier in the season but because of Michigan's crazy weather it would have been a waste with all the frost we've been having.

"Organic Plant Magic is all purpose organic plant food and organic fertilizer containing every plant essential element plus over 70 beneficial trace minerals. It’s also alive with Beneficial MicroOrganisms which are millions of many helpful microbes scientifically proven to benefit all plants and soils."

I decided to utilize the Plant Magic dipping method since I was planting these and my eggshell starters.  It was fairly easy and stuck to the roots great since it was almost like a charcoal powder.   Now I also plan on mixing this with water for watering and fertilizing throughout the summer but for now this should give my little babies the extra boost they need to get going.

What I especially love is that on the front of the bag it clearly says "safe for kids, pets, and the environment."  Each 1/2 lb. bag can actually cover up to 2,500 square feet.  As I mentioned previously it can be used to dip the roots of plants before planting them in ground or potting.  It can also be mixed with water as a fertilizer method covering a larger area!

Available to purchase/Cost:  $9.99 + S/H - 1/2 lb bag
Recommendation:  I really wish I could tell you exactly how well this works but unfortunately we will have to wait and see at the end of the summer.  I can definitely say the little plants perked up quite well after being planted using the Plant Magic.
