Shock Absorber Active D+ Flexi Wire Review and #Giveaway

Shock Absorber
I have always had so much trouble finding anything from swim suits to lingerie in my size.  I have a very large (natural) breast size and am not quite a plus size every where else (although I am an athletic build).  Sports bras are usually a waste of fabric in my case as I usually have to wear at least three to give me the support I need to work out.  Its honestly an ongoing joke on Sundays during my softballs as to how many bras I am wearing each game!  I run like crap since I have no support and it honestly just plain hurts like hell!

I was super excited to discover this next company as I thought it would be perfect for me.  "Shock Absorber was launched in 1995 after extensive research by the Shock Absorber Sports Institute (SASI) found that wearing a Shock Absorber sports bra during exercise reduced breast movement by up to 74% - delaying long term sagging."

Each bras style has been created to help individuals based on different activities and levels of intensity.  What make's this brand different than others though is that they DO NOT believe the one-size-fits-all approach works for women and their bodies.  "We believe our sports bras should work for everyone - whatever shape or size."

They sent me over the Shock Absorber Active D+ Flexi Wire to review and boy am I glad they did!  I was extremely excited to finally have a bra that would maybe support.  For the obvious reason I wore it the first Sunday for softball and I have to say I was gladly showing off my bra and doing bounces like out of a movie to show my supported babies off!

I cannot believe how great this bra felt!  My tatas were appropriately supported, not hanging out or drooping down to my belly button.  I didn't have a uniboob or four because of extra cleavage...needless to say I was thrilled.  For once I was able to wear a bra confidently and actually be focused on playing the sport instead of on my chest.

Best part is the bra didn't have to be "worked in" like a new bra does in my case similar to new pair of shoes.  The padded straps kept my shoulders comfortable plus the high performance fabrics kept me from having that gross sweat collecting between the boobs and underneath.  I also liked that even though the bra front was pretty high to hold in the cleavage it was almost like a sporty design so if it were to show, it would look like a tank top peeking out.

Available to purchase/Cost:  $59 Active D+ Flexi Wire
Recommendation: These were great quality and very comfortable so much that I cannot see myself ever whering another brand of sports bra!!  The cost may seem a bit high for a sports bra but not when I don;t have to A. wear 3 at a time; B. won't have to buy another one for a very long time; and C. it actually works and supports me.  If you are active in any way you NEED to buy one of these no matter what your size or shape!

  3. Cool blog. I'm having a bit of trouble with the background. It's a bit busy and distracting. Perhaps lowering the opacity or something.
