Orbis EarthBall Review and #Giveaway

Sorry to put this so bluntly but never in my life did I imagine that I would be surrounded by so many balls in so many ways.  I am the oldest of three girls as well as the oldest of 15 female cousins.  I'm still new in to the world of men being that I am the first in four generations to have a boy and now I have two of them.

Secondly, my boys are obsessed with balls.  Big, little, sports balls or bouncy balls, they love them all.  We have ball pits, mini basketball nets, and tents full of balls for them to play with.  A while back I discovered a ball which I knew both boys would not only love but could learn from!

"EarthBalls are used daily for educating students from preschools to universities. As a tactile and visual classroom aid, EarthBalls enhance the teaching of both natural and social sciences.  Featuring the latest generation of NASA satellite imagery, EarthBalls are the most visually authentic world globes available anywhere."

Honestly when I first discovered the company I had no idea how detailed this would be and how much my children would truly be able to learn from it!  I was beyond thrilled when the people over at EarthBall.com agreed to work with me and sent me over one of their 16" Balls for review.

There are tons of exciting and educational features included with the EarthBalls!  Not only do each of them include a 16 page handbook but your EarthBall displays 'NightGlow Cities', which allow children to see the way the big cities glow at night!  The handbook includes all sorts of resouces, games, and activities.

Cost/Available to purchase:  $18 - 16 inch diameter EarthBall with Global Handbook
Recommendation:  Not only is this a great resource to have at home for your kiddos to enjoy learning while playing at the same time but its detail is beyond amazing!  Its sure to make a great gift for just about anyone at any age from elementary age to college students!  Any school would be lucky to have such an amazing educational tool as this!

  18. I would love to win this to give to the school that our Lil Princess attends. The children would learn so much from it including motor skills, problem solving by getting it to go where they need it to go, even as far a visual aid to prompt them to ask questions about studies. The skills are endless they would learn from this. This would be great for all the grades in her school and they would benefit so much from it. The kids here are headed down a wrong path its seeming and if I could do anything to steer them on a good path I will. These kinds of things are so important to give them support to want to follow their dreams. Shoot one of the children that had such a chance to have this as learning tool might just spark the next Einstein in them to come out where it might stay hidden way if it wasn't for it intriguing him or her. I love this Giveaway. Its so important we help our children strive to be productive citizens and show them a good path in life and these kinds of things instill that in a child.
