Thomas & Friends®: King of the Railway DVD Review and #Giveaway

Super excited about being a part of the Lionsgate blogger program, I have yet another great DVD to share with you all! This time we received Thomas & Friends®: King of the Railway.  This one became available from Lionsgate Home Entertainment on Blu-ray DVD, Digital Download and On Demand on September 17, 2013.  This awesome set includes three music videos and a couple games.

The synopsis says "Join Thomas & Friends as they embark on a legendary movie adventure! The steam team’s quest begins when a special guest arrives on Sodor with a big surprise and important jobs for Thomas, Percy and James. The engines meet new friends and discover suits of armor; coats of arms and legends of long-ago heroes. Then their bravery is put to the test when their new friend Stephen goes missing. Will Thomas find him in time? Will the engines discover the truth about the Island of Sodor’s biggest mystery? It’s a crusade of knightly proportions for Thomas & Friends in this epic movie!"

When King of the Railway first came in the mail, Dane and Declan were very quick to hop into bed and get ready for movie time.  We had enjoyed the last full length movie - Blue Mountain Mystery so much both boys were extremely excited to watch this one!

In all honesty, we have become big Thomas fans over the last year!  The boys are constantly playing trains with their friends when they come over and these are movies of choice most of the time to entertain them.

Cost:  $24.98 Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack or $19.98 DVD
Recommendation:  I really liked this Thomas Movie!  I thought it was good for the entire family.  We were all able to talk through some of the lessons and guess what we thought would happen.  It even had Alana's attention for the entire movie and she's a you know what...a teenager!
