Legend of Kung Fu Rabbit DVD Review and #Giveaway

Legend of Kung Fu Rabbit became available on DVD, Digital Download and On Demand on September 24, 2013 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Originally I knew this was going to be one of those DVD's the boys would love.  Because of Kevin's love for Jack Black we fell in love with Kung Fu Panda and to see a spin off of something similar was great!

The cast includes stars like "Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Tom Arnold (Hit and Run) and Academy Award® nominee Michael Clarke Duncan (Best Actor in a Supporting Role, The Green Mile, 1999) along with pop singing sensation (the smash hit “Friday”) Rebecca Black in her feature film debut."
The synopsis says "In order to keep his promise to aging kung fu master Sifu, Fu the rabbit, a humble chef, must venture out of the comfort of his kitchen. He teams up with Penny, a kung fu prodigy, and her sidekick Biggie to go on a heroic quest to defeat Sifu’s arch-nemesis, Slash to save their kung fu academy from peril."

We really enjoyed this film together!  It followed an extremely familiar story line which we loved plus with Jon Heder's voice its hard not to think any character is hilarious in my opinion.  There is quite a bit of action, in this one as its of course all about Kung Fu so I would suggest if you don't want to see your children acting out the scenes as mine were, it might not be for you!
Cost:  $19.98
Recommendation:  I don't know if I would pay the $20 right off the bat for this one but now having it for a few weeks and knowing how much the kids like the graphics and action I would say its worth the purchase to add to your collection.  Its nice to have something a bit different than the average cartoon to watch, since most of my days are filled with children's shows.
