Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel DVD Review

As a family we have always been huge fans of the TV cartoon Phineas and Ferb.  I don't even know where to start with why we like it so much.  Between the characters being extremely similar to our children AND in the same gender order.  Or even the fact that it is a show which encourages exploration and imagination in children no matter what their age.  I have always told my boys it doesn't matter if someone says your too young to do something, if you want to and believe in yourself then you can do anything!

On October 1, 2013, Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel was released on Disney DVD!  Had my computer not broken over the last week I would have already had this review written for you as all three kids have been enjoying this DVD since it arrived through the door.  This DVD includes seven episodes which last a long 145 minutes!
The synopsis says "After Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s latest "-inator" scheme accidentally removes the powers of some very well-known Marvel Super Heroes (Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor, and Hulk), the heroes enter the world of Danville and team up with Phineas and Ferb to relocate their powers, defeat the Marvel Super Villains (Red Skull, MODOK, Whiplash and Venom) - who have also shown up to steal Doofenshmirtz’s power-draining technology - and save Danville from ultimate destruction!"

I have to say not only are Dane and Declan obsessed with watching this every night before bed but it has just encouraged them to play with all their super hero toys more.  Declan has a Perry the Platypus jacket which he so gladly started wearing in the cool weather as well.  We also have the poster up in the boys room which came with this DVD.  The kids just love all the action which Phineas and Ferb are always taking part in and now even more with their favorite super hero's like Spiderman included!
Recommendation:  We all loved this DVD as well as most any episodes that have come out in this series!  It is definitely worth the purchase and then some as I foresee the children watching this well and past its due time!
