OWG Drink Mixers Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
Girls Night Out is something I think we took for granted as young women.  If you are a mother you know those are usually rare and an unusual occurrence.  I am a stay at home/work from home mother now and for some crazy reason I thought my life would have gotten easier doing so.  I at one point and time thought my job was difficult working 70-80 hours a week.  HA!  Yea right!!

I have to be honest, by the end of the day; I am exhausted, frazzled, and stressed.  It’s a wonder why I frequently want a drink (or several) to end my day.  And a girls night out is rare because I want to spend the little free time I have with Kevin.  I actually discovered Old World Gourmet at a women's show a few years ago that my mother and I go to every year as our girls outing once a year.  So I was pretty excited when I was asked to review a few of their products through Tomoson.

"Beginning with the original wine ice frozen wine mix, Deanna Sullivan has nurtured Old World Gourmet to where it is today. There are now over 50 products in an array of flavors spanning frozen wine, liquor, cake and cracker mixes."  Old World Gourmet has received multiple 1st place awards for Best Packaging, Best Cold Beverage, Best Snack, and Best New Gift Item, Best Visual Display, and many more.
"OWG's products are hand assembled in the USA and the company is women owned and operated."  Their products are perfect for any girls night at home or even make for a cute gift. Either way you choose there is a variety of products available from their B!T@H Bags or Gourmet Snacks to their Party in a Pitcher.

They sent me over their Vinolicious White Wine Lemoncillo and Tango-Tini Mix to try out with a few of my girls!  This was a well needed treat!  The Vinolicious Boxes are perfect for any time of year (although my preference for frozen is obviously Summer and poolside).  These are great to have on hand when your in the mood for a Mommy Drink or when your best friend shows up stressed about her day!
Each were quite simple to make with or without the blender.  If you know ahead of time you will be consuming some adult beverages the preparation instructions are easy to follow and all do is toss the mix into the freezer for later.  Or you can easily make the mix to toss into the blender for on the spot satisfaction.

Cost/Available to purchase: $9.95 Tango Tini
$9.95 White Wine
Recommendation:  I thought these were a great evening treat although I was very nervous at first to mix my wine with water and potentially waste it!  I do have to say now being a seasoned drinker they are a little sweet for my taste so I have to limit myself before my stomach gets upset.  I even think they are pretty reasonably priced considering 1 box is about $8-$10 and will mix with a 750 ml bottle of wine or liquor (maybe a little less for the drinkers out there).
