Hasbro The Game of Life Review and #Giveaway

We have always been big into having game nights with our family and even with extended family and friends.  We are a crazy group and truly enjoy an evening of solid laughter.  I was truly excited when Hasbro asked me to review the Game of Life as it had been years since I played it and I knew it would be an oldie but goodie in my house!

"Where will your choices take you? You made it through high school, so now what’s next? Go to college or start a career – it’s your choice. Think the family life is for you? Take that path and see how many kids you’ll have! Will you venture down the risky road where fortunes can be won…and lost? Do whatever it takes to retire in style with the most wealth at the end of the game. Spin the wheel of fate and take a drive along the twisting roads families have enjoyed for more than 50 years! Do good deeds as you go through the game to earn Life Tiles and more money down the road!"

Designed for ages 8 and up and for two to four players, this game was perfect for our family.  Kevin started off saying there is no way the kids will be able to play this let alone understand it!  Boy was he wrong!  I feel like it actually educated them a bit (even though some of the lessons may have been incorrect in my opinion).  Dane understood that after school came college and of course you couldn't get married until after then and of course that babies came next.

Both boys thought it was cute being able to drive their characters through life!  We had a blast playing as a family seeing how many kids each of us had and learning things about each other like work!  Plus the boys both got very big into counting the money they made!

Cost/Available to purchase:  $19.99 The Game of Life
Recommendation:  I think Hasbro has a classic game with this one!  There really aren't any complaints from the Poole Household!  FYI, don't expect to play this with young children without expecting to lose the loose little pieces!
