Transformers Prime: Ultimate Bumblebee DVD Review

        As a family we have always been huge fans of the Transformers movies.  Even before the boys were born, Kevin and I would watch the first one over and over.  When I was in High School I used to drive a yellow with black sports car and now Kevin drives a yellow sports car as well (neither being a camero).  The children are obsessed with Kevin's car and have even named it Bumblebee.

        So needless to say we are pretty big fans of the cartoon series now with the boys.  I was psyched to hear we would have the opportunity to review new Transformers Prime DVD!  On February 25th, 2013, Shout Factory Kids, in collaboration with Hasbro Studios, will release Transformers Prime: Ultimate Bumblebee on Blu-ray™ + DVD combo pack and on DVD!

        The synopsis says "Beloved by kids and legions of fans worldwide, BUMBLEBEE is a dedicated warrior and a scout who serves as part of the elite squad lead by OPTIMUS PRIME. Though he may be one of the smallest and youngest of the TRANSFORMERS, don’t let that fool you. Time and time again, this AUTOBOT proves that he has the bravery to fight for what is right and the tenacity to throw himself into action to battle against his opponents no matter where they appear."

        Including four of the best Bumblebee episodes from Transformers Prime, your kids are sure to find some of their favorite action characters! Not only were Dane and Declan obsessed with Kevin's car and the Bumblebee character beforehand, they are beyond into him now more than ever.  Their eyes lit up when I showed them the DVD had arrived and we've seriously watched it dozens of times ever since!

Cost:  $9.99
Recommendation:  We all loved this DVD as well as most any others that have come out in this series!  It is definitely worth the $10 purchase and then some if you are fans as we are.  To be honest I don't care if you don't have children this was still a great DVD to own!
