  6. I really like beech and other light-colored woods for furniture. I think it's all the long winters I spent up north where light woods really brighten a room.

  7. I like light woods like beech. I started acquiring beech furniture when I lived far north in a place with long, dark winters because light colored woods really brighten up a room.

  8. I like light woods like bamboo and light oak. But I also really love old wooden furniture it's so beautiful and tells a nice story.

  10. I would be a Cherry wood fan myself. I love the color, the feel and the texture of cherry. A good piece of cherry shows wonderful detail of grain when it's stained. Also, having natural red-haired tendencies through my Mother's family, red hair, freckles, and red tones seem to look very good around us as well.
