Todd Oliver: Funny Dog DVD Review and #Giveaway

        When I first asked Dane if he'd like to help review the new movie from Inception Media called Todd Oliver: Funny Dog, he said sure why not, however I was a bit confused by what the movie would be about.  My expectations weren't set too high even though I thought it looked potentially pretty funny.  On April 8th, 2014, Inception Media Group released the new Todd Oliver: Funny Dog on DVD.


        The synopsis says "Join in the fun as nationally known comedian Todd Oliver and his amazing talking dogs (All Oliver family pets!) bring the down the house in this over-the-top, family-friendly performance!

Todd’s national appearances on 'The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson', 'The Today Show', 'Late Show with David Letterman', 'The Tonight Show', 'Walker Texas Ranger', 'CNN Entertainment News' have endeared him, along with canine sidekicks, to countless fans of all generations! Most recently, Todd became a semi-finalist on NBC’s 'America’s Got Talent.'"

        I've got to say, we are big fans of a few ventriloquists and thought that this guy was definitely one of the good ones.  I don't think it was quite what we all expected to get and that is actually our fault since we thought it was more than live stand up.  The boys enjoyed watching a short bit of it and Kevin and I thought it had some good humor for us as well.

Suggested Retail Price:  $14.98
Recommendation:  Although this wasn't a bad stand up DVD,  I still don't know if I would purchase it again at this price.  Even though we are family which loves comedy, this just wasn't the type for us.
