Adovia Spa Dead Sea Mud Shampoo Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

So about two months ago, something very strange started changing for me.  My hair and skin has started to become very oily and greasy, yet dried out and (my hair) flaky.  NEVER in my life have I had issues with something like this.  My hair (even though frequently dyed) has always been soft without dandruff and I could even go for several days without washing it and still no grease.

Now, I have no idea what is happening.  I am sure it has to be hormones of some kind since I haven't really changed my diet too much and all medications and vitamins seem to be the same.  Regardless it has been driving me nuts and honestly just grossing me out! My head and skin have been itching like crazy!  This almost seems to be eczema or severe dandruff since it is in one area of my scalp.

Being the naturalist that I am I've tried every natural solution I could think of with zero improvement.  I then even tried the over the counter products hoping to find a some relief and still nothing helped me.  As luck would have it I was recently asked to review Adovia Mineral Skin Care's Dead Sea Mud Shampoo which is specially formulated to naturally help moisturize and hydrate the scalp.

Made with ingredients like chamomile, olive oil, and dead sea mud, this shampoo should not only relieve the itching you have but the flakiness as well. "Dead Sea Mud contains the highest concentration of minerals found in mud anywhere in the world."  Now I do have to say I still saw no results from using this unfortunately and tried for at least 8 or more uses.

However, I loved the refreshing smell.  I wish I could describe it with a specific scent but it literally smelled like a refreshing mud mask or spa type of smell.  It was amazing when being applied to my head and very stress relieving in a nice warm shower.
Available to Purchase/Cost: $14.99 Dead Sea Mud Shampoo

Recommendation:  I thought this was great and very easy to use!  My hair felt soft after and although I don't know that I would purchase this for my scalp issue again, I might still buy it for the spa feel.  Price wise I think it is crazy expensive though for just a shampoo. Although the value and price listed are very different so at the $15 price, I would purchase it again!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers. *Read my Disclosure
