Fairy Tale Hair Care Rosemary Repel® Star Trio Review and #Giveaway

I've always been the type of person to try and find the more natural remedies for our daily activities such as bathing, whether it was making my own soaps or finding companies that believed in organic and harmful chemical free products.  I was recently asked to review some of the products over at Fairy Tale Hair Care.  This brand "offers the only natural lice removal treatment clinically proven to eliminate lice and their nits without harmful chemicals or pesticides."

Dane seems to think that any and all soap will eat away at his skin or something ridiculous of that nature.  Thankfully we have yet to deal with lice or ticks in our house even with all the pets we have.  Once we move to the country I have the feeling we will have to be a bit more vigilant about it though.

Fairy Tale Hair Care sent me over their Rosemary Repel® line of products including the 12 oz Rosemary Repel® Shampoo, 8 oz Rosemary Repel® Crème Conditioner, and 8 oz Rosemary Repel® Conditioning Spray.  Being that we haven't had to deal with the lice issue yet, I can't tell you how effective these are at getting rid of current lice.

I can, however, tell you it all works like any other shampoo and conditioner you would normally use.  "Gently cleanse, nourish and help prevent head lice."  Fairy Tale Hair Care products are all natural, free of parabens, pesticides, and toxins, as well as gluten, nut-free and dairy.

Available to purchase/Cost: $15.99 Rosemary Repel® Star Trio
Recommendation:  To be honest with you I don't know what else to say other than I LOVE these products and would recommend it to anyone with children.  The best part is their prices are very reasonable for such a natural product!

  2. I have a couple of times had to deal with Lice - we calmly, and meticulously dealt with them and made sure the kids understood that it wasn't their fault that they got them or that it meant they were dirty !!!

  3. My daughter was sent home from camp today with head lice! I've never had to deal with them before & it grossed me out. Today was my day off , not really! I've spent the whole day treating 3 heads and washing bedding , & vacuuming. My daughter has psoriasis on her scalp so the over the counter stuff burned her head. I would love to try fairy tales prevention so we don't have to relive this day again !!

  7. We have had to deal with it. Luckily the kids were easy to treat, as they all had straight, thin hair. I was not so lucky...long thick hair took a LOT longer to treat! Loved it...not!

  8. Thankfully not yet but I've had a couple of times when I had them when I was a child. They were difficult to remove and I remember the shampoo we used back then smells so bad.

  12. Yes My Daughter once had it and it was hard to deal with because she has such thick long hair. But I did the usual routine of lice treatments and cleaning every piece of laundry in the house. I also had to clean all of her toys and the furniture.

  13. My daughter had lice last year. First, we combed her hair out, then we used a nit treatment. When she showed having more lice a few weeks later I combed again, then used cassia obovata, and they never came back.

  16. I never have, but I think its because I use a repel spray on my kids hair everyday! I make it part of their daily hair routine and have since they were little. I have heard horrible stories about lice, so it scared me into using these kinds of sprays and I guess I've been lucky!
