Ageless Derma Pressed Mineral Foundation Review

Now although you all know I'm not huge on beauty products, I do love reviewing the more natural ones and especially anything that helps with my skin.  I've been told before by a dermatologist that I have extremely healthy skin.  I attribute this solely to the fact that I wear little to no makeup.  Plus when it comes to cleaning my skin, I very rarely use anything but soap and water with the exception of a few natural remedies.

I was recently asked to complete a review for Ageless Derma of their Natural Pressed Mineral Foundation.  I agreed quickly thinking it might be perfect for Alana and her complexion especially being that it was a Tawny shade which is definitely too dark for me.  This sounded like something I could trust putting on my face or hers.

"With a soft and silky finish Ageless Derma Foundations are mineral cosmetics that feel as light as air to provide you with a radiant barely there glow. It creates a sheer natural coverage that will replenish the skin while it protects it and keeps it neutralized from free radicals that are so damaging to the skin.

The lighter texture of Ageless Derma Foundations makeup will allow the skin to breathe while it repels the humidity in the air. This dynamic mineral make up adds the finishing touch to your make-up routine leaving your skin with an air brushed look that is very appealing. This mineral makeup contains light reflecting properties that will create a smooth and silky finish to any skin type."

Alana tried this out of course and it was a perfect color match for her!  Although she thought it went on smoothly and covered her face evenly, she was not impressed with how it washed off.  She complained that it stuck and was itchy.  If you are looking for something that doesn't wash away throughout the day this might be for you!  Our favorite part about using this brand is the fact that it's both made in the USA and NOT tested on animals!!

Cost/Available to purchase: $42 Pressed Mineral Foundation
Recommendation:  I think yes this is a bit pricey for me when it comes to makeup and especially when you look at the size and how long it is potentially going to last.  I do however think it was a great quality which makes the cost a little more worth it if you are someone who wears makeup daily.
