Dolphin Tale 2 DVD Review and #Giveaway

When news first came out about Dolpin Tale 2, Dane was ecstatic.  He claimed he had to have it and in fact it was one of the first things on his Christmas list since it was coming to DVD.  On December 9th, 2014, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment released Dolphin Tale 2 Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital HD.  This will feature a special "Dolphin Tale 2: Underwater Magic" as well as a blooper reel and special music videos or interviews.  Also included is the Dolphin Tale 2: True Story.

The synopsis says "The inspiring true story of Winter isn’t over. Several years after receiving a prosthetic tail, Winter loses her surrogate mother, leaving her alone, grieving and unwilling to engage with anyone, even her best human friend, Sawyer. Worse, she may have to be moved from her home at the aquarium due to regulations requiring dolphins to be paired. When Dr. Clay Haskett and his dedicated team can’t find her a companion, it looks like they may lose their beloved Winter...until an unexpected turn of events brings them Hope."

Thankfully Dane didn't have to wait until Christmas for this one as we just couldn't wait to give it to him when it arrived.  He quickly fell in love with the characters and the story. I hate to compare but this is today's young generations "Free Willy" type of story.  Very heartfelt and of course with some action grabbing the attention of those less entertained with the story (ahem, Declan).

Blu-ray Combo Pack $35.99
DVD Amaray (WS) $28.98
Recommendation:  I thought it was a very sweet story line and I enjoyed watching every moment of it myself.  Dane on the other hand, is hooked.  The cost is pretty high though for a DVD like this in my opinion.
