Click and Grow Smart Herb Garden Review and #Giveaway

Usually during the months of March and April in Michigan, I start preparing seedlings for my summer gardening.  I love growing huge garden s full of some really great fruit and vegetables.  Its my way of ensuring I can provide for my family not only during the summer months but through the winter as well!  It has always interested my to discover different ways to grow the same beautiful plants indoors.

A while back an awesome gadget caught my eye and I just had to have one.  The Click and Grow is designed to bring life into urban homes and spread the joy of growing something on your own, even if you have never been blessed with a green thumb."  For growers of all levels, this gadget is beyond easy to use and helps grow a variety of plants.  If you don't have a green thumb but would love even the smallest house plant, this will help you each step of the way!

This awesome gadget monitors your plant and dispenses an exact amount of water, nutrients and oxygen.  This way if you are inexperienced with plant life, you don't have to worry about over watering or knowing how much fertilizer to add.  Honestly one of my favorite things about this is that I don't have to worry about dirt!  I was sent over the Smart Herb Garden with a White Lid to review.

The Smart Herb Garden starter kit includes everything you need - basil, thyme, and lemon balm cartridges, sensors, light, and a special water reservoir.  The plant cartridges each have seeds, nutrients and smart soil.  What's especially awesome is this smart soil and technology uses "no GMOs, pesticides, fungicides, insecticides, plant hormones, or any other suspicious substances".  So for the tree huggin hippies like me, you can rest easy that your plants are safe!

Once it arrives there is very little set up and little to no maintenance.  Every once in a while the Smart Technology will let you know when you need to refill the water reservoir or change the batteries.  Once your plant is grown all you need to then is replace the cartridge to start a new plant!  While we started our plants almost two weeks ago, we've still seen no growth for me to actually show you.

However, just like all plants these need patience (time) and love (monitoring).  I expect to see some growth here any day and am enjoying watching my Smart Garden for the first sign of life!  What I definitely want you to know is this is the next generation of plant care which absolutely anyone can use!

Cost/Available to purchase:  $99.95 Smart Herb Garden w/ a White Lid
Recommendation:  You know this is expensive for a garden gadget this small but definitely not when it comes to quality.  I don't think the purchase price is all that outrageous for all that it does plus once you have the kit the replacement cartridges are fairly inexpensive!  Of course if I have my way, I'd like to see it a bit cheaper so the every day person will actually give it a try or maybe some good sales here and there.

  1. My favorite things to grow are tomatoes and bell peppers. I have never tried to grow herbs before, so this would be great.

  3. I love to grow fresh Herbs. Buying them at the grocery store gets pretty expensive and I end up only using a small quantity and have to toss the rest ): This Click and Grow Smart Herb Garden would be perfect in my kitchen!
