Click and Grow Smart Herb Garden Review and #Giveaway

With the weather cooling off quickly here in Michigan, I have to start bringing in the plants I can attempt to keep through the winter.  I also start growing my indoor gardens to provide fresh and healthy food to my family for the winter months.  I love growing huge garden full of some really great fruit and vegetables as it is my way of ensuring I can provide for my family. I easily do so using the Click and Grow Smart Gardening Systems.

A while back this awesome gadget caught my eye and I knew just had to have one.  "The Click and Grow is designed to bring life into urban homes and spread the joy of growing something on your own, even if you have never been blessed with a green thumb."  For growers of all levels, this gadget is beyond easy to use and helps grow a variety of plants.  If you don't have a green thumb but would love even the smallest garden or plant, this will help you each step of the way!  This awesome gadget monitors your plant and dispenses an exact amount of water, nutrients and oxygen.

This way if you are inexperienced with plant life, you don't have to worry about over watering or knowing how much fertilizer to add.  You can also still grow while traveling and not worry about coming home to dead plants.  Though, honestly one of my favorite things about this is that I don't have to worry about dirt!  The Click and Grow uses a Smart Soil and what's especially awesome is this smart soil and technology uses "no GMOs, pesticides, fungicides, insecticides, plant hormones, or any other suspicious substances".  So for the tree huggin hippies like me, you can rest easy that your plants are safe!
I was sent over the Smart Herb Garden Kit to review and couldn't be more thrilled than to add to my collection of Click and Grow Gardens!  The Smart Herb Garden starter kit includes everything you need - 3 Basil cartridges and the unit with sensors, light, and a special water reservoir.  The plant cartridges each have seeds, nutrients and smart soil.  If you are interested in growing something other than basil, Click and Grow refill cartridges are available.  You can grow other herbs like mint, thyme, stevia, parsley, or lemon balm; Grow fresh fruits like tomatoes or strawberries;  Or if you prefer a plant, grow the moving mimosa plant which is new!

Once it arrives there is very little set up and little to no maintenance.  Every once in a while the special reservoir will let you know when you need to refill it with water.  Once your plant is grown all you need to do then is replace the cartridge to start a new plant!  We are constantly starting new plants and rotating out the full grown ones to bigger pots for continuous growth indoors.  This way we always have something fresh to munch whether it's warm or cold outside.

Click and Grow is constantly trying to improve and bring customers the best technology for their homes and families!  They've created an experimental refill cartridge where you can grow anything your heart desires.  You aren't limited to what they have to offer, all you need is your own seeds and the refill cartridge with the same smart technology you are already growing in.  This is the next generation of plant care which absolutely anyone can use!

Cost/Available to purchase:  $59.95 Smart Herb Garden
Recommendation:  You know this might seem like an expensive purchase for a garden gadget this small but definitely not when it comes to quality.  I don't think the purchase price is all that outrageous for all that it does plus once you have the kit the replacement cartridges are fairly inexpensive!  Of course if I have my way, I'd like to see it a bit cheaper so the every day person will actually give it a try or maybe some good sales here and there.

  1. I'd love to grow my own Basil. I'm always cooking with it, so it would be great to have it fresh and handy.

  2. While a bit pricey, I'd still consider it because growing your own herbs is cheaper in the long run. And you're guaranteed fresh herbs everyday. When shopping there are times I pass up the herbs I find because they are already dying. I'd mover this. Thanks for the review. how long does it usually take grow before replacing it ?
