Disney Pixar's Inside Out DVD Review

I was extremely excited to have the opportunity to recently review the new Disney/Pixar's movie "Inside Out".  This is one of those feel good movies that you just know kids are going to enjoy and not just for it's colors and exciting characters, but with a good lesson in the end!  Inside Out releases on November 3rd, 2015 to Blu-ray 3D™, Blu-ray™ Combo Pack and On Demand.

This includes tons and TONS of bonus features including: Lava, Riley's First Date, Story of the Story, Paths to Pixar: The Women of Inside Out, Mixed Emotions, Mapping the Mind, Our Dads the Filmmakers, Into the Unknown: The Sound of Inside Out, The Misunderstood art of Animation Film Editing, Deleted Scene General Intro, Deleted Scenes, Commentary, Mind Candy, Inside Out Trailers, Disney Trailers, and Selected Score.

For those of you who haven't yet seen the movie, the synopsis says "Do you ever look at someone and wonder what’s going on inside their head? Disney-Pixar’s “Inside Out” takes an exciting and hilarious journey into the mind to find the answer. Based in Headquarters, the control center of 11-year-old Riley’s mind, five emotions are hard at work, led by lighthearted optimist Joy. She strives to make sure Riley stays happy as she operates alongside fellow emotions Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness. It’s “an instant classic,” raves Richard Roeper, Chicago Sun-Times. Experience it like never before on Disney Blu-ray!"

We really enjoyed all the bonus features especially the "story of the story" and the "drawing with your inner child".  I have always been an artistic person and now Dane is as well so we enjoyed learning about the character creations!  I have been fortunate enough to have confident children, but this is one of those movies that can really help put a child's fears or confusions at ease.

Recommendation:  If you haven't seen this movie yet you are crazy!  Kids or no kids this is a hilarious story almost any age can enjoy!  Both boys really enjoyed watching this over and over.  I think the colors are great for the lil ones and the lessons are great for any age!
