2015 Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide #HGG - Trendsetters

Everyone has a trendsetter in their life and it might even be you.  There are just some people blessed with style and the ability to start their own trends.  They can wear anything and aren't afraid to think outside the box.  This is what makes them special as well as what makes it impossible to buy gifts for them.  Here are some trendy gift ideas to help inspire the next trend!

1. Lugz
I've worked with the brand Lugz for years now and cannot begin to tell you how loyal my family is to the brand name.  Not only am I saying I've worked with them as a blogger but long before as a customer.  They are truly of great quality, ideas/trends, and customer service.  Each pair has lasted hours of wear, through the years of different jobs for as long as I've owned them.  Lugz brand has been setting trends around the world since 1993!

The Women’s Tallulah WR boots are available in a red brown/black/cream or black and feature a plush faux fur lining.  These are water resistant and have a reinforced rubber heel and toe.  What's great is these boots are functional for tough wear and tear and still stylish enough to wear out and about during the winter.  Once they arrived, I fell instantly in love as they were the absolute cutest AND looked like the perfect pair to get out in the snow or dirt.

With an early snow storm here, I wore them initially to play in the snow with the kids as well as each day heading out to the chicken coop and then out shopping on good ole Black Friday.  I love looking cute while rugged and getting dirty at the same time.  The fur lining in these is softer than any pair of slippers I've worn in the past.  I am completely in love with this pair!

2. LuLaRoe
LuLaRoe only produces 1,000 pieces of clothing in each print they choose and once it is gone, it's gone!  The great thing about this is you could be the only one with that particular style and print in your city or state, making these like one of a kind styles.  Any trendsetter knows how important that alone can be when getting dressed each day!  Made in the USA, stylists are in the factories daily producing these one of kind clothing pieces!

LuLaRoe first grabbed my attention in a way that not many brands do.  Not only do these pieces have the ability to be a one of kind, you can also where almost every piece in a variety of ways adding to it's uniqueness.  Tying a shirt a different way, layering different patterns, or accessorizing with belts, pins, and jewelry, it completely changes the look!

You can find clothing for your littler ones AND/OR shop for yourself.  While I might not be able to match my daughter because of the limited patterns I discussed, we can still dress similar and finally shop at the same place.  I was a huge fan of the clothing sent my way.

3. JORD Watches
"JORD is run by artists, designers, marketers, and minders. The value of a watch is not in being able to tell how much time has passed, but in being aware of the need to make that time count. Moments are bigger than minutes and your watch should tell more than time."  JORD provides wood watches which are one of a kind time pieces.  I can promise while might find similar sellers, they cannot compete with the quality and unique designs that JORD has available for customers.

JORD sent me over their Dover Series Ebony and Rosewood Watch.  I love the contrasting colors as they truly show the different features in this watch.  It resembles my husbands favorite sports team colors making it an obvious gift choice.   Their website says, "Hand-crafted wood timepieces that tell a story. Start the conversation.", so I have funny story for you about my husband and I...When we first started dating, I went out of my way and tried really hard to get him the ultimate Christmas gift.

Even though we had only just started our relationship, I knew he was the one.  So I knew the first gift I gave him I wanted to set the tone and express to him how strongly I felt.  I went out and shopped around a ton, then spent quite a bit of money on a really nice watch for him.  After all my efforts, Kevin informed me as he opened the gift, he didn't wear watches and would not have a use for this gift.  Sorely disappointed I can tell you that it is only after ten years of marriage, have I been able to find him a watch he will finally wear.  The JORD Dover style watch now marks a bit of a special moment in time for us being our tenth Christmas together!

4. Del Sol
I'm sure you've all seen the awesome Del Sol products before whether it is in a souvenir shop or even online nowadays.  They now have even more to offer than ever!  Each of Del Sol’s merchandise reacts when brought into the sun light.  Whether a design appears or the design changes colors, it’s always really cool to see the different things that happen with each of the Del Sol products.

What I love is that Del Sol isn't just for the kiddos!  There are literally products for everyone and every age.  My husband who is pick as anything is able to find "cool" t-shirts, my daughter and I have scooped up tees, nail polish, and flip flops, and the boys love the Marvel and Disney clothing!

I think that the price point for these items is on point for the technology.  Of course I'd like to see them priced a little cheaper so they are a little more affordable to the every day family.

Novica
I've always been a fan of the products over at Novica.  Check out the unique gifts and gift ideas many of which are eco-friendly or handmade by artisans around the world!  This is one of those websites you can spend hours shopping on and one which you can cross off everyone on your list in one trip.  I'm looking forward to sharing more information with all of you soon regarding the great products available at Novica!
"WE CONNECT Artisans to a global marketplace of socially conscious customers
WE EMPOWER Artisans to build a sustainable business from their craft
WE PRESERVE Ancient artistic traditions for future generations to enjoy"
Started with the goal and focus on happiness around the globe!  This is a brand that will make you feel good about your purchase.
When buying from Novica, I had a 50/50 success rate.  I loved the skirt and it's fit was true to size.  The top on the other hand was way too small and arrived with a small snag in it.  Their return policy seems to be quite tricky so I haven't even bothered trying to exchange it for something I would actually be able to wear.  Regardless of your style, you can find something for everyone there - clothing, housewares, jewelry, and more.
