My Blog Spark Pillsbury Artisian Pizza Crust Review and Giveaway

Pillsbury - Minneapolis, MN

I don't know very many people who can honestly say they don't like pizza.  I know my family is huge pizza fans and not just delivery style. I really don't even like to buy the frozen pizzas from the grocery stre.   I love love love to make pizza from scratch for my family.  This way we can load up our pizzas with as many ingredients as we want without all the extra costs.  I can make decent size pizzas for each individual with whatever their specific likes are.

The only thing I dislike about the homemade pizzas is the crust (well and the mess I make when making the crust).  For some reason my crusts just aren't that soft and chewy crust especially if your a crust eater.  I'm not but the rest of my family is and thats their one complaint that they just wish it tasted more like one of the delivery companies.  A lot of it has to do with the fact that I am using whole grain flour to be even healthier.  But I've recently discovered the ready made Pillsbury Artisian Crust that I can grab at Kroger on my regular grocery trips.

This comes in a tube just like any other crescent rolls and can sit in my refridgerator without going bad (as fresh dough does). It is easily rolled out onto your pizza pan and away you go with your toppings!  I added some farina to the underneath to keep from sticking which I always recommend when making pizza.  As you can see, to accomodate to all of our tastes, we split the pizza into four sections.  I bet you can tell which is mine!  The kids loved using our Pillsbury Oven Mitt and new Pizza Cutter as if they were actual pizza cooks.

The pizzas tasted wonderful and the crust was just perfect.  It had an amazing flavor without adding anything additional on top or mixed in.  Another awesome thing about this crust is it comes packed with 16 grams of whole grain per serving.  These kids loved it, there was barely any pizza left a couple minutes into dinner!  I will definitely be getting more creative with my Pillsbury Artisian Crust after my next trip to the grocery store!

Cost: $May Vary Store to Store
Available to purchase:  Store Locator...I found mine at Kroger.
Pillsbury Artisan Pizza Crust with Whole Grain Coupon
Recommendation:  This is some awesome crust that can make such an easy and homemade meal for so much less than eating out or ordering delivery.  I will take a meal made by me any day for my kiddos as I know what is going into it.  This is going to make for a healthy meal in my eyes for most families.
