People use so much energy putting up extravagant light shows for Christmas as well as people like us during Halloween. Faulty string lighting and poorly kept trees can cause fires and terrible losses for families around the world during this time of the year. Christmas in my eyes is one of the most wasteful times of year between the wrapping paper, fresh cut trees (which kills me), and the over use of energy lighting peoples homes. With a company like Environmental Lights, you can still decorate but without the same waste-fullness.
At EnvironmentalLights you can find a variety of your favorite Christmas lighting styles/bulbs. They carry LED string lights, timers, programmable strings, globes and spheres, solar lights, pre-lit greenery and so much more. LED lights can save you up to 90% on energy costs, and will also typically last 10 times longer than traditional incandescent strings. with the intensity and efficiency of modern LEDs." An additional bonus for the holiday season are Solar LED Christmas Lights, which don’t use any energy at all! A small solar panel charges during the day so the lights last all night long. For Christmas we received the Solar 5mm Conical Wide Angle 6-Function 100 LED Chasing Christmas Light Strings. These are made with a green or clear wire and are 43 feet long. I love these lights and I feel so much more at ease about using these!

Cost: Starting at $44.80 an individual string but the more you buy the cheaper they will be.
Available to purchase: Environmentallights.com
Recommendation: Definitely worth making the switch even though they are a little on the pricey side. Your investment is sure to last longer and save you in the long run. If we can each just switch out a string or two each year, the cost will be minimal but will make all the difference.
