ProgressOh! Make-Oh-ver Experience - Progresso Light Soups Review and Giveaway

#MyBlogSpark! #ProgressOh!
Progresso - Quality Foods
One of my favorite things about going into a cooler season is the different kinds of warm cooking you get to do.  I was once told a long time ago that during the hottest days of summer, if you are trying to cool off you should have a hot cup of coffee or espresso (which is what I was offered on my vacation).  Even though I've heard that several times after and believe it, something still seems strange about drinking a hot beverage to cool down.  Obviously, I love to cook for the holidays but in before, in between, and after, I'm all about two things (and sometimes they even go together) - My crock pot and SOUP.
The fall and winter give me even more of an excuse to chow down on soup.  Don't get me wrong I still eat it all summer long but I have a better appreciation for it in the cold weather.  There's just something about the way it warms your tummy.  Because of the dieting I've started this past year, I feel as though I have become a soup conisour.  I do love to make my own from scratch but come on who has that kind of time on their hands (especially with my two crazy boys).  One of the soups I am always loading my cart with at the grocery store is Progresso!  There was even a great coupon matchup deal this past week to get it super cheap at Kroger!

Recently I was asked by Blog Spark to do another review for Progresso Light Soups in honer of their ProgressOh! Make-Oh-ver experience in Hollywood.  I of course said yes but it wasn't like I didn't know what to expect or what I'd be getting.  If you want to send me something I love why in the world would I say no about it.  I received the Light Creamy Potato with Bacon and Cheese and Light Chicken Pot Pie Style along with a few other feel good items.  These two Progresso Light creamy soups are part of the lineup of more than 40 flavorful soups.

Both Kevin and I had to have soup for lunch over the next few days to try these out and of course our other favorite Progresso Soups.  Kevin had the Light Creamy Potato with Bacon and Cheese  and said although it was good, he was a bit disappointed that it didn't have as many chunky pieces as the original but of course that's because this is the light version (which he doesn't need to necessarily eat).  I actually skipped on the Chicken Pot Pie and left it for Kevin as my favorite is their High Fiber Creamy Tomato Basil.  MMmmm....this went perfect with a light sprinkle of asiago cheese!!

Be sure to check out the ProgressOh! Make-Oh-ver experience going on right now.  Progresso is giving you the chance to win the ultimate ProgressOh! Make-Oh-ver experience in Hollywood*! 5. I would like to try the Light Zesty Southwestern Style Vegetable or like you the High Fiber Creamy Tomato Basil sounds like my kind of soup! I tend to make my own soups and don't really have a family fave of canned soups. My husband does like an occasional treat of clam chowder.

  6. I like your blog posts, I like that the giveaways have honest reviews of the product - not gushing "I love it so much" - but true feedback that tells the truth ("It's good but, this is what I think may need to change").
I also like the full descriptive, what the prize is, where it comes from, when the giveaway ends. There are too many blogs that I'm not sure what it is and when it ends.
