Sprout Cups Baby Food Storage System Review

Both of my boys are chubbies and have been since birth (I'm not complaining, I love every bit of it!)  They have both been in the 90 percentile and above for sizes.  Their eating styles have reflected this from very young, both starting on baby food before six months and regular foods by six or seven months old (of course because it was recommended by my pediatrician).

Because store bought baby food can be expensive and honestly not as healthy for your child, I have always made my own.  I started doing so to save money and quickly realized how easy it was.  Plus, now I have control over what exactly is put into their little bodies - no extra sugars or unknown ingredients and dyes!
I was recently asked by Sprout Cups to review their Baby Food Containers and sure wish I had these from the beginning as my life would have been a little bit easier and the process a bit faster.  Sprout Cups are reusable 2 oz. storage cups which sit on a neat little tray.  These come with a dry erase marker for easy labeling (especially with things like dates).

There are clear measurement markings so you can properly portion the amounts and these containers are freezer and microwave safe for quick prepare ahead meals.  The only thing is they are hard to read markings once you have something thick added to the jar!  The screw on lids make it easy to take these on the go with out worrying about spills.  Also made dishwasher safe for easy cleanups

I absolutely love using these since I like to prepare my baby food in batches!  This Summer when my sister has her first child I will finally be passing these on to her to hopefully make her n"new mom" transition that much easier!!

Available to purchase/Cost:  $14.95 - 12ea 2oz Sprout Cups
Recommendation:  These are pretty cheap for an environmentally friendly option and healthy alternative for your little one.  I would recommend these to any mom or as a perfect gift for a new mom as a shower gift!

  1. This is genious! I am going to pick up a set for my step-daughter who makes all her own organic baby food.
