Saffron Road Foods Review

I have worked ridiculously hard over the last year to move my family as a whole to not only healthier eating but to also over teach my children about foods and how they affect each of them.  One of the problems we have had with such an active family trying do so, is finding quick options for the days we just don't have the time for a homemade meal.  And lets be real, a lot of the organic food you buy at the grocery store doesn't seem to taste real or even somewhat normal.

When I find different food options in the organic section I get excited to try these.  Though just like any type of food, it can be hard to take the plunge and spend the money on something you might potentially hate.  I recently contacted Saffron Road for exactly that reason! I wanted to find a new quick and tasty meal option for my family which was healthier.  The people over at Saffron road quickly sent me over a few coupons to get a couple of their products!
Saffron road is a brand "recognized as a leader in not only halal, but also as the premium choice in frozen antibiotic free entrees which are also certified humane and 100% natural.  Saffron Road seeks to bring its mission and faith-based values to a higher calling with the local and global community, embodying a socially-conscious company ethic, as well as being a dedicated to sustainable farming practices."
I couldn't find a decent selection at my local Kroger but I did notice the Tandoori Seasoned Chicken Nuggets right away as I'm a huge fan of this Indian spice.  So that was an obvious purchase! The only other option was the regular Chicken Tenders which were actually perfect for the kiddos and husband!  Sure enough this past week I got too busy to actually thaw some meats or make my normal from scratch dinner.  I remembered the chicken and was able to quickly toss it in the oven with some fries to bake up a full meal for everyone.

I loved the Tandoori chicken and thought it honestly tasted fresh and full of flavor!  Alana wasn't as much of a fan since she had never tried tandoori spice before but she loved the chicken tenders.  Kevin thought the chicken tasted a bit fishy but he still enjoyed eating it.

Available to purchase/Cost:  $(price varies)
Recommendation:  Yes definitely try these especially if you haven't before.  I was familiar with Saffron Road in the past but never tried any of the products.  I wish I could have found their Chickpeas as I think they would make for a great snack!  This makes a great meal all while maybe making your day a little easier.  You might even get a few minutes at the end of the day to do something for yourself (wishful thinking of course)!
