Bass Egg Portable Speaker Review and #Giveaway

Instead of carrying around a boombox like in the 80's or a cd player in the 90's whenever you wanted to hear some music, kids now have their iPods and other MP3 Players.  Its not good enough for kids these days to even have something portable but yet it needs to be something small (actually tiny), portable, and with amazing sound.

"Bass Egg is a sleek, durable, and portable audio device that transforms everyday objects into speakers. Despite its small size (fits in the palm of your hand), the Bass Egg is capable of making anything a full-range speaker system."  The Bass Egg works with pretty much every smartphone, tablet, music player with Bluetooth capability, smartphone, iPad®/iPod®, mp3 players, notebooks, and eReaders.

My family first discovered this concept at the International Women's Show which we always travel to each year.  The original brand we purchased was very disappointing as we should have known better than to purchase something which had no website and no contact info "just in case".  The quality was less than sub par and it eventually fell apart.
Thankfully we discovered the Bass Egg and our faith was quickly restored in the quality of this type of speaker and its abilities.  "Unlike a traditional speaker, the Bass Egg has no speaker cone. Instead, it transduces vibrations into everyday objects, turning your world into a speaker. The bigger the object, the bigger the sound!"

We have used about every object you can imagine from counter tops to boxes in order to create music.  And if we can't find something to use (in the rare situation that would occur), the carrying case box which the Bass Egg comes in is "acoustically engineered for optimal sound.  Bass Egg is rechargeable and the battery lasts between 4 and 10 hours of play time.
This tiny speaker weighs only 1 lb. 1 oz but don't let that fool you because you can hear it from far away!  This little speaker sure packs a punch and the quality is clear as anything.  Best part is you can take your music anywhere without restrictions.  You will be the life of the party because no matter how many people or how loud the crowd is you will still be able to hear your jams!

I had planned on giving this to Alana as a stocking stuffer but she has officially taken over it.  She is able to take it to her friends houses and parties or in the summer even to the beach.  My sister even wants one now so you see these are even great for those of all ages.

Available to Purchase/Cost:  $99.99 Bass Egg
Recommendation:  It seems a little pricey at first when you look at size but in all honesty because it is compatible with just about anything you already have, I'd say the price is worth it.  It would definitely make for a great stocking stuff for just about anyone of any age!

  3. This is a safe alternative to wearing earphones while walking. I want to listen to music, but I want to be able to hear what is going on around me, as well. I liked that I can use it with almost anything, so using it with my laptop would be awesome! Thank you for the review!

This is such a fascinating concept to me. I love that it's portable, versatile, and universally compatible. This would definitely be an improvement over the internal speaker of my iPod.
