Time Magazine for Kids - Dinosaurs 3D Book Review

TFK Dinos 3D Cover
Those of us with children know that when you have kids they grow out of things faster than you can blink an eye especially before age 5.  Its amazing to me how quickly time flashes by.  I just try my hardest to cherish each and every moment as it goes by and regret nothing!

One thing I have noticed that seems to have been a consistent for my oldest son Dane is his love and fondness for dinosaurs.  We really expected him to grow out of them as soon as we were done decorating his room and oddly enough he's still in love three years later and now of course his brother is a fan as well.

I was pretty excited to see that Time Magazine for Kids had come out with Dinosaurs 3D book on August 13th, 2013.  I knew not only would the boys love having a new book of facts but the 3D factor as well!  We recently took Dane to his first 3D movie at the theater and he was pretty much hooked.

The synopsis says, “TIME For Kids sees how dinosaurs continue to fascinate and awe our readers. With Dinosaurs 3D, they can take a walk on the prehistoric side, going back more than 65 million years to a time when our planet was a very different place and dinosaurs ruled the land.” said Bob Der, Editorial Director, TIME For Kids. “We are thrilled to be able to bring families and children on an incredible 3D journey in history with this new book so they can discover some of the most amazing and unusual dinosaurs together.”

The three children truly enjoyed checking out this book with the 3D glasses that came along with it.  My only disappointment was the fact that we tried to use our actual plastic 3D glasses and they didn't work the same.  So we struggled to keep the children taking turns sharing the one pair of glasses.

Available to purchase/Cost:  $19.95 Dinosaurs 3D
Recommendation:  Personally I think this was a cute book for any child who is into this type of history or facts.  The pricing is a bit too high though in my opinion for a children's book.

  1. It's kind of along the same lines, but my 8 year old loves the Zoobooks magazine. It is definitely more of an informational and fact filled magazine, but they have animals from all over the world and at least I know my kids like it. It also make s a good gift...have given it to my nieces and nephews.
