Lifetime Holiday 4-Film Collection DVD Review and #Giveaway

Ok I'm going to throw this out there and you can choose to pick it up if you want but really, really, what woman can say they have never watched a Lifetime Movie.  It seems like inevitable part of life as a female in this day and age.  The movies are most of the time cheesy and lame but you can be sure to find yourself a good cry!

So when Lionsgate asked me to review the new Lifetime Holiday 4-Film Collection released October 15th, 2013, I was all about it.  Of course I know its not going to be the movie of the century but I can count on it being a perfect lay in bed, feel good with a good cry movie!  And in this one I get four in one pack!

The Christmas Consultant synopsis says "David Hasselhoff (TV’s “Baywatch”) brings in the merry as a sought-after consultant hired by a workaholic mother to get her family through the holidays. When Christmas and family collide and the consultant takes over, they are in for a holiday season they’ll never forget."

The Holiday Spin synopsis says "Ralph Macchio (The Karate Kid) stars in a heartwarming story of a former dance champion and his estranged son. Watch as they overcome their differences and work together to prepare a dance routine for the Christmas Eve ballroom competition."

The March Sisters at Christmas synopsis says "Starring Julie Marie Berman (TV’s “General Hospital”), this contemporary take on the novel Little Women follows the legendary sisters as they fight to save their home and search for love during the holidays."

The Holly’s Holiday synopsis says "Claire Coffee (TV’s “Grimm”) plays an advertising executive who is strangely attracted to the handsome mannequin in the holiday window. After she is knocked unconscious by a falling icicle, he comes to life as the man of her dreams – until she learns that his personality is still plastic."

Alana liked Holiday Spin the most as she is into the dance movies of this generation although I cannot say the same since I oddly enough don't enjoy watching the "Karate Kid" in movies now that he's much older.  I personally thought The Christmas Consultant was the most realistic of the collection.  I do have to say we thought all four were cute and a great way to spend a few evenings together for a mother/daughter evening!

Price: $19.98
Recommendation:  I don't know how much I'd be willing to pay for a Lifetime movie on actual DVD but this was a cute collection for only $5 bucks a movie I think it would make for a great stocking stuff for the sensitive person in your life. :)
