Angelina Ballerina: On With the Show DVD Review and #Giveaway
Hit Entertainment released the newest of the Angelina Ballerina series, Angelina Ballerina: On With the Show on DVD, Digital Download and Video On Demand on January 21, 2014 . This five-episode collection also includes a karaoke music video and Angelina's Picture Game bonus features. "Angelina Ballerina embodies dance, music and performance while inspiring girls to achieve their dreams. Angelina dances her way into little girls’ hearts while sharing lessons in friendship, loyalty and of course, fun!"
The synopsis says "The stage is set for big performances and lots of fun! When Ms. Mimi loses her voice, her class finds ways to communicate through music. After a musical mishap, AZ doesn't miss a beat and discovers another way to keep tempo. Gracie learns an important lesson about finding inspiration and Angelina and Polly set the stage for a perfect celebration for their dad. Come along as Angelina and the mouselings let their creativity shine and get on with the show!"
While Mikayla and Hannah absolutely love Angelina Ballerina, the boys have seemed to quickly lost interest. So it seems as if these will be geared towards Amy's girls each time they arrive. Hannah enjoyed putting on her own show alongside this one. This was a really cute story where we all loved the extra encouragement to be expressive through creativity!
Cost: $14.98 DVD
Recommendation: We highly recommend this series to anyone who has children. Although this is geared more toward girls, I like that it's mainly about 2 girls and 2 boys learning different types of dance, from tap, jazz and of course ballet as well as the importance of expressing yourself creatively through the arts!
