Trendy Pet Raised Slow Feeder Review and #Giveaway

This may sound strange to non pet owners, but they just don't make homes convenient or fitting for pets to live in.  Silly, I know right?!  But if your like us we have always had several pets at one time.  There are a couple issues we've encountered at each place we've lived which is where to fit "their things".  This includes the litter box, pet beds, and most importantly the food and water dishes.

These items can just look so bulky and out of place.  Now by all means, my home is not a clean and tidy one most of the time because of the dogs  I do, however, truly love to incorporate their furniture and personal items into our lifestyle.  I love color coordinating between my furry girls and boys as well as matching our own furniture.

I discovered Trendy Pet on one of those random online searches I love to do and couldn't be happier.  Not only is this a brand which has created unique and stylish pet feeders but they understand the need for specific heights and unique types of bowls depending on your pet.  They stress the importance of customizing their product to fit your pet and not the other way around.

I was able to choose a feeder which was a bit higher than the average feeder since I've got two large breed dogs.  They even help you learn how to determine the perfect height for your dog.  I was also able to pick an exceptionally stylish (in my eyes) black 12 inch raised feeder!  With one of my dogs, Rayne, being a speedy, over-eater, I knew I wanted to try the Slow Feed Dog Bowl too, in hopes of seeing her eat at a healthier pace.

Now even though these look like wood, they are made from a BPA free plastic and are water resistant.  I LOVE this feature since Rayne doesn't believe in swallowing her water before walking away from the bowl.  This way I do not have to worry about the feeder rotting or cracking (like my last one did).  Not only does this one match perfectly with our kitchen, the dogs actually seem to prefer this as we've even tried putting one bowl on the floor and the other in the feeder.  They choose the feeder every time!

Available to purchase/Cost:  $122 - 12" Raised Slow Feed Bowl
Recommendation:  I do think this is an extremely expensive product for a dog feeder BUT it is sure to last for quite some time.  With having an older dog in the house who can tend to get sick after eating, I know how important it is to have a quality raised feeder.  I would recommend this brand especially if you are looking for something that is going to last AND match your decor!

  1. I am really excited about the raised slow dog feeder. We want to raise our dog's food bowl as he grows (our puppy grew so fast) to make it comfortable for him to eat his food.

  2. I think the raised feeder would work for my Aussie because he is a messy eater and he has some hip issues that make bending down painful for him.

  5. I like the raised feeder. Our dog is just a pup right now but she's getting big and we need bigger bowls for her. I also really like that this is off the floor so that I can sweep underneath it when Bella makes a mess. Thank you!

  8. The raised dog feeder, 8 in and two quart, looks good for my dog who can be very messy and I notice she sometimes choke on her food so I think it needs to be higher for her so she could swallow it easier. I have a raised feeder for my cats and they seem to love it so I would like to try one for my dog.
