Kagan Dryer Dock and Rapid Defrost Tray Review and #Giveaway

Being such an eco-enthusiast, I am always trying out new ways of being greener for my family.  Not only do most of these tips and tricks help save me even a little bit of money but they also help ensure my family is living as healthy as possible.  A while back I was able to work with a brand that made this much easier.  Kagan stands by the same thought - "Products that make life better".

This time around I was sent over two products to review - the Dryer Dock™ and Rapid Defrosting Tray.  The Dryer Dock helps attach your dryer vent to the vent in your home.  If you have an electric dryer (NOT GAS), you can use the warm air from your dryer to heat your home.

Not only does this reduce the cost of your heating bills but it utilizes the air/power you were using anyway.  I absolutely love how easy this is to install and use.  It can easily be connected and disconnected to clean and access.  I love that with propane being our primary heating fuel at the new house, we will now have an alternative!

I love to cook.  That should be fairly obvious at this point in our blogging relationship.  I love finding ways to cook both healthier and greener for my family which should also be fairly obvious.  What I hate about cooking is those busy days that I forget to defrost a meat for dinner until it is too late and having to stick it in the microwave on defrost.

Half the time the microwave cooks the food instead defrosting it.  Regardless, I hate using the microwave in general because of all the hazards it can cause to my food.  The Rapid Defrosting Tray eliminates the need for the microwave and it really works.  This metal tray actually absorbs the cold at a fast rate evenly throughout the food product and reducing the thaw time.

I love how quickly this works and how very simple it is.  It's literally a defrosting tray using ZERO electricity, no dangerous microwave, and most importantly effectively taking my food through the food danger zones in a timely manner.  Once you are done it easily washes clean with soap and water.

Available to purchase/Cost:  $12.99 Dryer Dock
$29.99 Rapid Defrosting Tray
Recommendation:  Get both (if you have an electric dryer)!  I love, love, love these tools for the home.  The defrosting tray is something every one should have in their home as it makes life easier AND healthier!

Giveaway:  Kagan is going to give one of A Lucky Ladybug's lucky readers a Rapid Defrost Tray to have of their own!
