#InTheRawParty Monk Fruit Review MommyParty

Now I am not a sugar or sweets loving person at all and in fact barely use sugar for much but when I do, I am quite picky about it.  I cannot stand most products which use sugar substitutes like Splenda or Truvia.  I think they have terrible aftertastes and honestly they are worse for you if you do your research.  What a lot of people don't know even myself is all the things that sugar is actually in and how it affects our bodies.  it has also become quite the epidemic causing ingredient when it comes to the problem our society has with obesity.

I was more than thrilled AND eager when I was asked to review Monk Fruit In The Raw. With all the effort I've been making to transition my family into a cleaner and healthier lifestyle, this just seamed perfect going into the holiday baking season.  "Monk Fruit In The Raw is a zero calorie sweetener made from monk fruit, a vine-ripened fruit native to Asia."

I was sent over a totally awesome Monk Fruit In The Raw MommyParty Kit which included tons of samples, utensils, coupons, and cotton tote bags all for myself and my guests.  This ended up working out to be perfect timing as we were in the process of moving during the party weekend.  With the big move we were able to treat our friends helping us move to some sweet desserts and snacks, powering them in a healthy way!

Besides baking, I love using only a packet or two of Monk Fruit In The Raw in my coleslaw and potato salad recipes!  This way I still get the sweet tastes without the calories.  You can even add an orange packet to your cup of coffee or tea to sweeten as my guests that stayed overnight found the next morning with breakfast!  One "packet packs the sweetness of about two teaspoons of sugar."
Recommendation:  I thought this was a great ingredient to have around as an alternative in any home.  I love the taste and so did my children!  They couldn't tell the difference which is huge in my book!  I feel more confident in the health of my families meals using this brand!
