The Handy Box Monthly Subscription Box Review and #Giveaway #HGG

The Handy Box
Its odd because I would never in a million years consider my husband to be remotely feminine in any way, however he isn't exactly the most hands-on Mr. Fix-it man.  He knows how to fix most things around the home and will if he needs to.  But he usually opps out of doing anything if he can find someone to help him.

I think most of it comes from the fact that he doesn't have a good supply of tools and his family growing up didn't necessarily do a lot of hand-on activities (or that I know of). He still uses a lot of the tools that my father gave me when I moved out of the house.  So when we first heard about the subscription box The Handy Box, I knew it would be the perfect gift for him.

"The Handy Box is the first monthly subscription box designed for handy men and women, DIY’ers, and those who enjoy projects around the home."  Each month includes 4-6 tools, supplies, and gadgets.  Our box came with some really awesome tools including a mini drill with an entire drill bit set, wrench, leveler, and a drain clog remover.

Within the first day of it arriving, Kevin actually went around the new house trying to see what he could do to his new tools.  Right away he said the quality was not what he expected but better.  He was really impressed with the box and what came in it for the cost.  Now granted the drill we received wasn't a full size one but it was perfect for small DIY projects and would have been the perfect gift for someone just moving out on their own!

Cost/Available to purchase:  $24.95 1 Month Subscription
Recommendation:  Besides the quality that came in our box, I can tell you this is perfect for the man or woman in your life who loves crafting and DIY projects.  The college age and first time home owners would also benefit from something like this.
