The Monster Factory VW Play Tent Review and #Giveaway #HGG

One of the activities the boys have always loved to do is building forts and again what kid doesn't.  It seems almost coded into everyone's DNA so love hiding out or imagining a whole new world at some point in your life.  Even as an adult we love to take vacations (to a world different than we are used to).

Camping in a tent is fun at most any age (although all adults may not love it).  And if you are parent I am sure you've been asked at least once to construct some sort of tent, fort, or play structure!  Imagination, creativity and self construction of these play lands is an essential part of growing up.

When I was asked by The Monster Factory to review the 1965 VW Camper Van Play Tent, I thought it would be a great opportunity for many reasons.  My family loves to be outdoors and to camp. Having two young boys I thought this would be the perfect gift for them! Its easy to take with us anywhere we go and fairly easy to set up! Which makes it even better!

It's easy enough to set up in our living room or back yard for them to play and even quite possibly when they are old enough can have camp outs in the back yard.  This tent is pretty cool in my eyes as it looks just like a 1965 VW Camper Van! How neat to bring an old vintage vehicle back into an awesome tent for kids!

This tent has plenty of "van" windows which is nice for those hot summer nights and makes it more realistic for the kids imaginary play! The best part of it is that its the perfect size for the kids and for inside or outside use!  The VW tent has both UV protection and is fire retardant along with it being water proof which are all pluses in my books!

Weighing a total of approximately five pounds, this is simple and light weight for the kids to drag around or set up themselves. Although, there are a couple of very small down falls I've found while reviewing. The 1965 VW Camper tent comes with a carrying case which it is a little difficult to get the tent to fit back in or even fold back up for compact storage.  The poles make it a little more complicated for the kids to set up on their own as well. I'm sure once I set it up a couple more times for the boys, it will get easier for me to set up and break down.

Available to purchase/Cost:  $59.99 VW Camper Van Play Tent (Red)
Recommendation: I love thsi tent and how realistic it is!  As you can see even Alana had to jump in to play with the boys!  I think the cost is pretty in line with something like this and of the quality level.  This would make for a perfect gift for any kiddo this holiday season.
