Underdog Kids DVD Review and #Giveaway

Growing up, my sisters and I were very involved in karate.  We found a love for the sport in a unique way between the three of us.  The boys are now getting into sports themselves and learning about individual versus team participation.  So when I recently heard about the new movie from Anchor Bay Entertainment, I knew it would be a good one for them to review!  On July 7th, 2015, releases Underdog Kids to on DVD and On Demand.

The Synopsis says "When the struggling Mid-City Community Center’s karate team loses their instructor a week before the big tournament, former MMA champ Jimmy “The Lightning Bolt” (Rhee) returns to his old neighborhood and reluctantly agrees to train the misfit bunch. Despite the struggles they face, the washed-up fighter and group of urban underdogs bravely take on the undefeated Beverly Hills Junior National Karate Team in the ultimate karate showdown at Nationals, and learn confidence, courage and honor along the way."

Watching the inspiration shown by the team in the film and how everyone pulls together made for a great family movie.  Not only have we loved similar movies to this in the past but the boys truly enjoyed this one.  It was a good learning point for them as well as entertaining.

Recommendation:  The whole family enjoyed this DVD and loved teamwork each of kid used.  I would recommend this DVD to most any children with all the life lessons and motivation!
