Beessential Natural Skin and Body Care Products Review and #Giveaway

I am generally a very low maintenance chick (at least in my eyes, lol).  I very rarely have makeup on and usually throw my hair up in a ponytail.  When it comes to beauty products, I am very particular about what I use and in several ways.  It's very important to me that I know essentially what I am using as well as my family.  I want my family to live a healthier and cleaner lifestyle without all the terrible things we rely on and add into our bodies.

So when I discovered the company Beessential and they asked me to review several of their products, I knew I was in right away.  First and foremost, I was happy to hear all the products are made in the USA!  The company was created on the same curiosity I have each day walking through my small hobby farm as I try to intertwine my family's health with my green living obsession.

All of their products are made primarily from natural ingredients "derived from at least 95 percent renewable and naturally-derived ingredients".  I was sent over a box of amazing goodies which included several lip balms (Lemon Lavender, Orange Ginger, Coconut Lime, and Rose Mint flavors), Sulfate Free Shampoo and Conditioner, plus their Grapefruit and Lemongrass Natural Foaming Soap.

Declan always has chapped lips so we are always trying new chapsticks and lip balms on him.  He hates anything with artificial flavoring and is very particular about his balms being natural. I wasn't sure if he'd like these but knew either way Alana and I would be thrilled to try a new brand.

Heads up though, each of these had one dominant flavor and one which was subtly detectable.  Lemon Lavender (smelled the lemon), Orange Ginger, Coconut Lime (smelled the lime), and Rose Mint (smelled the rose).  Alana and I loved the Coconut Lime, but Declan liked the Orange Ginger.  Declan's lips have been looking ten times better the past few weeks since using these!

Alana has been using the Sulfate Free Shampoo and Conditioner.  She has been raving about it and how great her hair feels throughout the day.  She's got extremely thick hair so I was surprised to hear she felt it worked really well getting it clean even close tot he scalp.  She feels like she's got less build up and likes the subtle sweet smell.

I love having the Lemongrass Natural Foaming Soap sitting out in my bathroom.  Hands feel super soft after each use and of course are easily clean with it's thick foaming action.  It's by far our favorite from the package as the smell is amazingly strong and fresh smelling.  Not only does it smell when washing with it but the bathroom smells great after use.

Cost/Available to Purchase: Natural Skin and Body Care Products $Varies
Recommendation:  Surprisingly the pricing is very reasonable compared to other beauty products and especially ones which are organic.  I can say I see myself buying both Alana and I more in the future!

  1. I love that the shampoo is sulfate-free. Sulfates tend irritate my scalp.
