When Re-Body asked me to review their SafSlim and Re-Body Meal Replacement Shakes, I was excited to give yet another product a try to see if it could possibly help me. What made me even more excited to learn about these products is the fact that their body fat/weight chart actually shows me at high average NOT overweight or obese. The categories include Lean, Ideal, Average, and Above Average - which in my opinion are much more positive terms to use to get me motivated. So let talk about how they worked.
Right away I was excited to try the SafSlim since it was in a pina colada flavor (one of my favorite drinks). "SafSlim™’s expeller-pressed, high-linoleic (78 percent) emulsified safflower oil (SAF) is a very effective way to target and reduce belly fat. Studies have shown results with no modifications to their exercise or diet regimens. However, SafSlim is intended to be used in addition to any reduced-calorie diet and exercise program."
I have to say the flavor wasn't so bad but the after taste of this was horrid (of course in my opinion). After the first couple days I started taking this as a shot with a chaser to help it go down. What I liked best about this product is that there was no time frame before meals that I HAD to take it for it to work. I hate when they say 30 minutes prior only because I forget until I actually want to eat.
The Re-Body Meal Replacement Shake came in a chocolate flavor. These shakes work like any other meal replacement shakes - mix em up with milk and go. Just make sure to replace a meal with these as they have the nutrients you need to skip a meal. This honestly tasted like most others, although it did have a small after taste but nothing major. When I used the shakes they seemed to help a great deal with keeping me feeling satisfied through the "meal time".
Did, they work though? I have been using both at least 4 out of 7 days a week for about two weeks. Although I haven't noticed a thinner fasique, I have dropped approximately two pounds without any change in my exercising or diet (except for the meal replacement shake). I did however use a cleanse from NHR a few times a week during the whole process. Unfortunately, I am not yet comfortable showing off any before and after pictures even with full clothing on. I still feel like I have quite a bit to go.
Cost/Available to purchase: $29.99 - 16oz SafSlim (approx. 30 days)
$59.88 Set of 2 - 14.8 oz (14 servings) Re-Body Meal Replacement Shake Available only on QVC
Recommendation: Definitely a great company with some very good motivational tips and research on the effects of Linoleic Safflower oil on dieting. Prices are a average for any dieting product although I think ALL companies are crazy charging this much. I thought the products worked decent for the time I have been taking them and I plan on continuing. As of now I may buy another bottle of SafSlim in a different flavor in hopes it doesn't have the yucky taste. I do like this product though quite a bit.
Giveaway: Re-Body is going to give one of A Lucky Ladybug's lucky readers a can of the Meal Replacement Shake and a bottle of SafSlim of their own!
