I love love love to cook!  I cook constantly for my family and in most cases, over cook as we are always trying to come up with new ways to recreate from the leftovers!  Any great cook knows that straying from a recipe is how the best ones are created!  Mistakes can be fun and turn into masterpieces when you least expect it!  Cooking this frequently usually requires a few things - knowledge, passion, and a good set of cookware!

I have learned pretty quickly that if you buy a cheap cookware set, you are going to get exactly that out of it.  Crappy food!  Either your food doesn't taste quite right, it burns to the pans, or even worse you even end of with bits of the tephlon in your food which is the beyond terrible!  I was recently asked to review the 8 pc. Evolve Cookware Set and I am beyond happy I was!

The set includes a 9.5" Fry pan, 11" fry pan, 1 qt. Saucepan w/glass lid, 2 qt. Saucepan w/glass lid, and 5 qt. Dutch oven w/glass lid.  Not only are my pans old hand me downs but with all the cooking I do, I've been in a desperate need of a quality set to take my cooking to the next level.  I have been treating this set as like my most prized possession since it first arrived.

Made from a heavy gauge aluminum, this pan features silicone stay-cool handles which keep hands safe and making gripping full pans easy.  There are textured heat bands which help evenly heat pan ingredients, resulting in better tasting and cooked food.  I have noticed that I am having to use little to no cooking spray and still no worrying about burning my meals.  My food has seemed to cook more evenly and much faster than with my older pans.  Even though these are all dishwasher safe, I have simply hand washed each piece several times now as well with no scrubbing in the slightest!

With all the time PFOA remains internally and the side effects it can cause, why would you ever want to use this type of pan again?!  Beside just knowing how much better your food turns out using these pans, you are risking your families health doing so!  With 100 percent PFOA free, Hydrolon water-based non-stick coating, you have less to worry about when it comes to cleaning and worrying about bits chipping off into your food, you have nothing to worry about.

Cost/Available to purchase:  $108.83 Ecolution EVRE-1208 8-Piece Evolve Non-Stick Cookware Set, Red
Recommendation:  As if you couldn't tell already, I think this is a great set even (especially) for a beginner in the kitchen!  Cost-wise this seems to be right in line with other similar products of its nature but like most cookware sets, I'd love to see it more affordable for the every day cook.  I have fallen completely in love.

  1. I would use the Dutch Oven to make a beefstew from the beef scraps I freeze-and I'll be ecofiendly at the same time-win-win!

  2. I would use the glass-lidded dutch oven to make a casserole I won't burn!

  3. I definitely like the fact that you are able to hand wash these without any trouble. I often times don't have enough to fill the dishwasher but do it anyways in order to get my pans clean.
