Beyond Beyond DVD Review and #Giveaway

Because the boys are quite into their YouTube videos and lately they've learned of Evan (a young boy with his own YouTube channel called EvanTube), I figured this next movie would one they might both enjoy.  Arriving on DVD, On Demand and Digital HD on March 8th, 2016, Lionsgate releases Beyond Beyond.

The synopsis says "After the sudden disappearance of his mother (Ambyr Childers), Jonah (Evan) goes on a journey to find her with his protective father (Cary Elwes). In spite of his father’s best efforts, Jonah finds himself separated from his dad and all on his own. Determined to find his parents in the strange land of The Feather King (Patrick Warburton), his wild adventures begin to unravel the strict rules of The Feather Kingdom. As the world they know begins crumbling around them, will Jonah find a way to return home with both of his parents, even at the cost of a whole new world order?"

Starring voices like the already mentioned Evan from EvanTubeHD, Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), Patrick Warburton (Planes: Fire and Rescue), Emily Deschanel (My Sister’s Keeper) and Ambyr Childers (TV’s “Ray Donovan”), this is an adorable story where the little guy prevails.

The boys thought it was pretty good and they recognized a lot of the voices.  Personally, I wasn't all that interested in it or at least as much as the children.  Declan was interested when it first arrived but not as much once we turned it on.  It reminded me of similar stories with the plot of the smallest character being the hero.
