I'm going to dive right into this one just like I wish I could dive right into the water right now!  I'm a total Summer chick and right about now I am totally missing the warm weather.  But even though we have monthes until we say goodbye to the snow and bitter cold, I've still got the warmth of my coffee each day.  I recently discovered a new brand of coffee and I am totally obsessed.

Fifty Shades Fun for Mom 

Since we are on the topic of relaxing, let's talk about chilling out on the couch with a great flick (or three).  Whether she's read the books or not, I can bet most Mom's will appreciate an evening filled with the steamy movies in Fifty Shades 3-Movie Collection Unrated Edition which features the 3rd movie in the series, Fifty Shades Freed.  Fifty Shades Freed is available on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray™, DVD and On Demand on May 8th, 2018 from Universal Studios Home Entertainment.

Being that I'm outnumbered in my home with my only girl being grown and three little boys at home, I live for the times I get with just my daughter.  When the last two Fifty Shades movies came out, it quickly became a special mother/daughter outing.  The timing could not be more perfect for Mother's Day as the Fifty Shades 3-Movie Collection is exactly the gift I wanted.  Now I can watch anytime, anywhere.

iZombie: The Complete Second Season DVD Review

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the DVD I reviewed in this Blog Post. The opinions I share are my own.

        Being that we are huge into the Halloween season and anything "zombie" related, we were psyched to watch the first season of iZombie.  Alana and I ended up starting the first season together and enjoyed it quite a bit although I slowly stopped and need to catch up.  So when I heard Warner Bros. was releasing iZombie: The Complete Second Season on DVD and Digital HD on July 12th, 2016, I knew we had to start watching it again!

Ooops I'm Pregnant and (was) Freaking Out! What Do I Do?!!

So the news is out, A Lucky Ladybug is expecting the unexpected this Fall.  It's been an exciting and very scary couple months for myself and my family which I want to share with each of you.  Pregnancy can mean so many things and it is different for everyone.  Normally I'd keep a lot of this to myself but being a Blogger this time around, I know I am not alone in my nervousness and excitement.  I took a few minutes to explain this past weekend my pregnancy and family history.  But now I want to share the shock and utter fear we/I have been dealing with since discovering the news.

My husband and I were not trying for another and in fact were finally making plans for a life without diapers, bottles, and late nights (not by choice).  Being that having another child was not even a thought in the back of our minds, we had begun remodeling our new home for more of a grown up kids and adult atmosphere.  We've got a bar area for the adults, dart board and pool table, and a complete gaming set up for the kids (and well Kevin).  No more baby gates, hiding baby dangers, and toddler toys.

Then everything changed...

Far Cry 4 - PlayStation 4 Review

        My husband is a hardcore gamer, so much that we have every gaming system in our house!!  He even has my 3 younger children playing games daily and because most of his friends and family are out of state, he has taught the kids this is another form of communication.  Most evenings, you will find someone in our household playing a video game of some sort and a lot of times it is Kevin playing online with his best friend.

        Now it's no secret that myself and my family is a big group of party'ers.  We honestly take every chance we have to get together with friends and family for drinks, games, and socializing of any sort.  Some could even say a little too frequently (haha) . Life is too short in my eyes to not spend it with those you care about doing the things you enjoy.

A Cry for Parents of Today's Teens

Parents of all teens, I am begging for help.  Or more importantly I am begging the parents of the teens my teen knows and associates themselves with.  While my career involves social media to the extreme, I also understand the effects it can have on an individual and the toll it has taken on today's youth.  I don't want to ask but beg that we start better teaching our children about the negative side of technology.  All the positive aspects of the growing intelligence are masking what technology and social media are actually doing to us as human beings.
